been comforted and felt loved through this ministry. There are links
on this web site with directions for making prayer shawls, prayer
links and prayer squares, suggestions for how to begin this ministry,
some ideas about how to invite others to participate in the ministry,
and some prayer shawl stories from those who are involved in the
ministry, in their own community or church. May the Lord lead, guide,

has inspired many, many people for many generations to serve the
Lord through prayer using blankets and shawls in diverse ways. How
great is our God to lead and guide so many people over so many years
to create hand made gifts using different materials, praying similar
