Do You See Anything?

"And they came to Bethsaida. And they brought a blind man to Him, and
entreated Him to touch him. And taking the blind man by the hand, He brought him out
of the village; and after spitting on his eyes,and laying His hands upon him,
He asked him, 'Do you see anything?' And he looked up and said, 'I see men,
for I am seeing them like trees, walking about.' Then again He laid His hands
upon his eyes; and he looked intently and was restored, and began to see
everything clearly. And He sent him to home." Mark 8: 22-26

Imagine that you are in the crowd and you know and care for the blind man.
You watch the process of healing as Jesus restores sight to your friend. As the
man, now with sight, goes home, Jesus approaches you and thanks you for your
prayers for the blind man and the love in Jesus' eyes lets you know that you
are valued and important to Jesus. He then says to you, "Do you see anything?"
You are puzzled, because you can already see trees, your friend, and Jesus.
But, Jesus persists. "Do you see anything?" Now, as you look around you, you have
new vision - the trees seem to stand out as a gift of creation. Looking at
your friend walk away with eyes that see, you notice that there is a lightness
about your friend that you hadn't seen before. And Jesus, looks so beautiful to
you. Jesus asks again, "Do you see anything?"

Look around you now and see with fresh eyes. How will you respond to Jesus
when He asks you, "Do you SEE anything?"
