"I pray that the eyes of your heart may
be enlightened, so you may know what
is the hope of God's calling, what are the riches of the glory of
the Lord's
inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness
of the power of
the Lord toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the
working of
the strength of the Lord's might, which was brought about in Christ
when the
Lord raised Christ from the dead, and seated Jesus at the right
hand of the
Father in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority
and power and
dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but
also in the one
to come. And the Lord put all things in subjection under Christ
Jesus' feet,
and gave Christ as head over all things to the church, which is
the body of
Christ, the fullness of Christ who fills all in all" Ephesians
1: 17-23
"For this reason, I bow my knees before the Father, from
whom every family in
heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you
according to
the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through
His Spirit in the
inner man; so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith;
and that
you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend
with all the
saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and
to know the
love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled
up to the
fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly
beyond all that
we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,
to Him be the
glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever
and ever,
Amen." Ephesians 3: 14-21
"Be
strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the
full
armor of God, that you may be able to stand firm against the schemes
of the devil.
For our struggle is against flesh and blood, but against the rulers,
against
powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the
spiritual
forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up
the full armor of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil
day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Stand firm therefore,
having girded your loins with TRUTH, and having put on the breastplate
of RIGHTEOUSNESS, and having shod your feet with the preparation
of the GOSPEL OF PEACE; in addition to all, taking up the SHIELD
OF FAITH with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming
missiles of the evil one. And take the HELMET OF SALVATION, and
the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, which is the WORD OF GOD. With all prayer
and petition pray at all times
in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all
perseverance
and petition for all the saints." Ephesians 6: 10-20.
When you feel attacked by the enemy, pray the ARMOR OF GOD on
you and your loved ones. Ask the Lord to give you eyes to see
and ears to hear the voice of God in your life. Open your heart
to Jesus as you pray.
